RCMP steps up enforcement for the holidays

December 12th, 2012 – Antigonish, Nova Scotia . . . Antigonish R.C.M.P. conducted a traffic enforcement initiative focusing on crosswalks and pedestrian related offences. As a result police issued 12 Summary Offence Tickets for offences such as failing to yield to pedestrian, using hand held cellular devices, failing to wear seatbelts etc…

The R.C.M.P. would like to take this opportunity to remind motorists to be vigilant during the holidays. It is everyone’s responsibility to make our roads and highways safe.
