RCMP Investigating String of Vehicle Theft & Mischief Complaints

March 17, 2017, Antigonish, Nova Scotia . . . Antigonish RCMP are investigating a string of mischief complaints and theft of motor vehicles in Linwood, Antigonish County.

During the early morning hours of February 26, Antigonish RCMP responded to several complaints of entry into unlocked vehicles, stolen vehicles and trespassing. The investigation revealed that three vehicles were stolen from two separate properties and a number of unlocked vehicles were entered. All three vehicles have since been recovered.

Police are reminding motorists to lock up their vehicles and remove any valuables, making their vehicles less attractive to thieves.

The investigation is ongoing.
