RCMP Apprehend Impaired Driver

On Saturday June 23rd, 2012 The RCMP’s Eastern Traffic Services apprehended one more impaired driver.
An 42 year old man from Afton Nova Scotia was stopped by police in Antigonish County. The man was subsequently arrested for impaired driving and will faces charges of Refusing to provide a Breath Sample. He will appear in Provincial Court here in Antigonish on August 1st, 2012 to answer to the charges in addition to 2 counts of Breach of a Probation Order.
Impaired Driving is the leading cause of Criminal Death in Canada. If you suspect someone is impaired while operating a motor vehicle please call 911 immediately. A vehicle includes automobiles, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, vessels and aircraft.
