RCMP Apprehend Impaired Driver

On Saturday August 31st, 2013 The RCMP’s Eastern Traffic Services apprehended one more impaired driver.
A 64 year old man from Antigonish County Nova Scotia was stopped by police on South Side Harbour Rd in Lower South River Nova Scotia. The Man was subsequently arrested for impaired driving and will faces charges of Impaired Operation ( by Alcohol ) of a Motor Vehicle and Impaired over 80 mg%.
He will appear in Provincial Court here in Antigonish on September 25th, 2013 to answer to the charges.
Impaired Driving is the leading cause of Criminal Death in Canada. If you suspect someone is impaired while operating a motor vehicle please call 911 immediately. A vehicle includes automobiles, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, vessels and aircraft.
