Antigonish RCMP seize drugs at traffic stop

August 7th, 2017, Afton, Nova Scotia . . . Just prior to 12:30 a.m. on Monday morning, Antigonish District RCMP conducted a traffic stop on the Afton Rd. As a result of this traffic stop, a large quantity of marihuana, hash oil and drug paraphernalia were seized.

A 29-year-old man from Antigonish County has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. He is scheduled to appear in Antigonish Provincial Court on September 13, 2017 at 9:30 a.m.

The investigation is ongoing.
