Antigonish RCMP on Scene of Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision

November 24th, 2011, Tracadie, Antigonish County, Nova Scotia.

At approximately 3:09 p.m. this afternoon Antigonish RCMP responded to a two vehicle collision on Highway 4, in Tracadie, Antigonish County, Nova Scotia.

A 16 year-old male driver of one of the vehicles died at the scene. A second male in the same vehicle has been transported to St. Martha’s Hospital in serious condition. The name of the deceased is being with held pending notification of the next of kin.

A male and sole occupant of the second vehicle has also been transported to St. Martha’s Hospital, his condition is unknown at this time.

The investigation is ongoing with the Antigonish RCMP and the Eastern Traffic Services Unit to determine the cause of the collision.
