RCMP Apprehend Impaired Driver

On Monday May 6th, 2013 The RCMP’s Eastern Traffic Services apprehended one more impaired driver.
A 67 year old female from Antigonish Nova Scotia was stopped by police on Highland Drive in Antigonish. The female was subsequently arrested for impaired driving and will faces charges of Impaired Operation ( by Alcohol ) of a Motor Vehicle and Impaired over 80 mg%.
She will appear in Provincial Court here in Antigonish on July 10th, 2013 to answer to the charges.
Impaired Driving is the leading cause of Criminal Death in Canada. If you suspect someone is impaired while operating a motor vehicle please call 911 immediately. A vehicle includes automobiles, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, vessels and aircraft.
