Antigonish RCMP investigate damage to St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church in Bayfield, Nova Scotia

October 24, 2014, Antigonish, Nova Scotia . . . Antigonish County RCMP are investigating an incident in which the copper wire leading to the lightning rod at the top of St. Anne’s Church on Summerside Bayfield Road was pulled away from its secure mounts on the side of the church. This may have been done in preparation to steal the copper wire at a later date.
