Antigonish RCMP apprehend two Impaired Drivers over weekend

Early Saturday morning at approximately 0145 a.m. police received a call of an impaired driver at local convenience store. Police intercepted the 20 year old Fredericton man on West street. The man was arrested and subsequently charged operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration over 80 mgs / 100 ml of blood and driving while impaired. He will be in court on January 4, 2012 to answer to the charges.

Two hours later 3:30 am. police stopped a man on College Street, a result the 30 year old New Glasgow man was arrested and subsequently charged operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration over 80 mgs / 100 ml of blood and driving while impaired. He will be in court on January 11, 2012 to answer to the charges.
