Antigonish RCMP Apprehend Impaired Driver over the weekend

Antigonish RCMP arrested a 23 year old Pictou County man Thursday night for being impaired while in care and control of a motor vehicle. The man was escorted to the detachment where he provided samples of his breath. He faces charges of care and control while having a blood alcohol concentration over 80 mgs and care and control while impaired. He will appear on a court date of July 10th, 2013.

A 19 year old James River man was charged Friday night for careless and imprudent driving after he was stopped on Main St, Antigonish.

A 21 year old Truro man is in custody for a break and enter in the Afton area. The man will be appearing in court later today for a bail hearing. He faces charges of break and enter into a dwelling house, theft, and two counts of breach of undertaking.
