July 31, 2014, Antigonish, Nova Scotia . . . Antigonish District RCMP investigate complaint of man unlawfully in a dwelling house…

Antigonish District RCMP are investigating after a woman arrived home on the evening of July 30 and discovered an intoxicated male in her residence. The woman left the residence located on Northview Drive in Antigonish for only a short period of time and she left the doors to the residence unlocked. The man left immediately when confronted by the woman. It appears that his level of intoxication caused him to become confused and he thought he was in a residence known to him. A search of the area was conducted by police but the man was not located.

RCMP are reminding everyone to lock their doors when not at home.
