Antigonish RCMP Media Release – Three Vehicle Collision

RCMP respond to Three Vehicle Collision,

At approximately 4:30 pm on Thursday, July 4, 2013 Antigonish District RCMP responded to a three vehicle collision which occurred near the intersection of Highway 104 and Dunmore Road.

All three vehicles, a Chevy Silverado, a Honda Civic and a Toyota Corolla were travelling West at the time of the collision. The collision occurred when all three vehicles stopped quicky as a lead vehicle (uninvolved in the collision) was turning left onto Dunmore Road. Emergency Health Services attended the scene and determined no major injuries as a result of the collision.

With the summer tourist season upon us, the Antigonish RCMP reminds motorists to be aware of increased traffic flow on our streets and highways. When traffic becomes heavier please take extra precautions such as the following: slow down, increase your following distance, and minimize any distractions in your vehicle.
