Antigonish RCMP Investigate Damage to Vehicle

October 13th, 2015, Antigonish, Nova Scotia . . . Antigonish RCMP are investigating a report of vehicle damage which occurred some time between September 30th and October 1st. The vehicle, a silver Ford Taurus, was parked in front of JJ Carroll House on Orchard Terrace. Numerous scratches were made to the driver’s side of the car causing damage over $3000.

October 13th, 2015, Antigonish, Nova Scotia . . . Police investigate report of break and enter into a seasonal residence in Afton, Nova Scotia.

Antigonish RCMP are investigating a report of break and enter into a seasonal residence reported to have occurred between the last week of September and first week of October. There was damage to the interior and exterior of the home.

Antigonish District RCMP partner with Antigonish By-law officers during Homecoming Week-end Oct. 2-4th

Antigonish RCMP and By-law Officers patrolled the streets of Antigonish this week-end to ensure the safety of the public. 25 summary offence tickets and 4 warnings were issued under the Liquor Control Act. 5 Noise By-Law calls were attended which resulted in 2 warnings and 1 ticket being issued.

Since the beginning of September the RCMP have issued 91 tickets under the Liquor Control Act within the Town of Antigonish.

Antigonish RCMP seek assistance of public

October 5th, 2015, Antigonish, Nova Scotia . . . Police investigate report of Stolen Vehicle, Antigonish, NS.

Antigonish RCMP are investigating a report of stolen vehicle reported to have occurred sometime between 10:00 pm on October 3rd and 2:00 am on October 4th. The vehicle, a 2006 Grey Pontiac Torrent SUV was parked outside Piper’s Pub in Antigonish. The keys were left in the vehicle. The vehicle was located October 5th on St. FX Campus with damage to the interior and exterior.
