Antigonish RCMP Thanks the Public

Posted on June 13, 2014

The memorial for the fallen members in the detachment lobby will come down later today. The Antigonish RCMP would like to take this opportunity to thank the public for the overwhelming appreciation and support since the tragic events in Moncton last week.

“Our members have been deeply touched by the public demonstration of sympathy and appreciation for the fallen members and police officers everywhere. Our detachment has seen a steady intake of food, flowers and citizens visiting to sign the book of condolences. ”

As we move forward we ask any support be directed to the families of the fallen members in New Brunswick. The public can access www.rcmp.gc.ca and see the Memoriam Fallen members page that provides for messages of condolences, profiles of the fallen members and a Memorial Fund if you wish to donate.

May God Bless them, their families and police officers everywhere.
