Antigonish RCMP apprehend an Impaired Driver involved in crash Sunday Night

Antigonish RCMP arrested a 53 year old Antigonish County man Sunday evening after he was involved in a crash on highway 245 in North Grant. Police patrolled to the scene of a single vehicle crash after receiving a 911 call. The driver was taken into custody at the scene and escorted to the RCMP detachment to provide breath samples. He faces charges of impaired driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration over 80 mgs/100 ml of blood. He was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date of October 23, 2013.

Antigonish RCMP Apprehend Impaired Driver Overnight

Antigonish RCMP arrested a 30 year old Tracadie man for impaired driving Thursday evening.
The man was stopped in Monastery and subsequently arrested for impaired driving. He faces charges of Impaired Operation ( by Alcohol ) of a Motor Vehicle and Impaired over 80 mg%.
He will appear in Provincial Court here in Antigonish on September 4th, 2013 to answer to the charges.
