Antigonish RCMP arrested two males over the weekend for offences under the Controlled Drug and Substance Act. One is facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and the other is charged with possession. Both males were arrested at the Evolve site in Black Avon, Nova Scotia.

Over all the Evolve Festival did not pose any major policing issues as extra personnel had been brought in for the event. Police arrested three persons under the Nova Scotia Liquor Control Act for intoxication in a public place. One person was arrested for breach of the peace. Police assisted Emergency Health Services with at least two medical emergencies associated to the Evolve site.
